Why Gormley Chooses Northstar
Northstar was built right here in Gormley because Dawood Motala — our founder and lead technician — saw a gap. York Region had no shortage of chain shops and dealerships, but truly expert, independent auto repair was hard to find outside of the city.
Dawood is a Red Seal certified Master Mechanic and Centenial College diagnostics graduate. He and his team handle the full spectrum of automotive repair — from a basic oil change to a complex hybrid drivetrain fault — with the same upfront honesty every time. You'll never get a bill you didn't agree to. You'll never be pushed into a repair you don't need. Gormley and the surrounding York Region communities have rewarded that approach with over 100 five-star reviews.
